Description

Talens Empty Ink Bottle is a handy 30ml round bottle for mixing your own ink colours. It has a dropper that is attached to the lid.

Having an empty ink bottle with a dropper is handy for art work primarily because it allows for precise control and measurement of liquids, as well as efficient storage and mixing of custom art materials. Also available Derivan Refillables.

Key reasons it is useful to include a Talens Empty Ink Bottle in your Art Materials Repertoire:

• Precise Application: The dropper mechanism enables you to dispense liquids one drop at a time. This is crucial for intricate details, fine-tuning colour saturation, and working in small areas without making a mess or wasting material.
• Mixing Custom Colours/Ratios: Artists can create and store their own unique ink or paint blends, using the drops as a consistent unit of measurement. This makes it easy to replicate exact colour formulas later on.
• Reduced Waste and Spills: The controlled dispensing and secure, airtight cap significantly minimize the risk of accidental spills. Also reduces the risk of leaks, or overpouring, which is especially important with expensive or sensitive art supplies.
• Preservation and Longevity: The screw-top lid and small opening help create a better seal, which reduces air exposure and prevents materials like inks, washes, or paints from drying out prematurely or becoming contaminated with dust or debris.
• Convenient Storage: These small, durable, and often reusable bottles are perfect for organizing and storing various liquid media. Use for diluted acrylics, watercolours, alcohol inks, or glues, and label for quick identification.
• Versatility in Technique: Use to add controlled amounts of water or a medium to a palette. Great for thinning paints or to apply targeted moisture.

In short, a dropper bottle provides a clean, efficient, and controlled way to handle liquid art materials. This enhances both the creative process and the lifespan of your supplies.
