A 25gm Box of 710 short silver pins 13mm long.
Key Uses for Sequin / Lills Pins:
- Sequin Art: Attaching sequins to polystyrene balls, cones, or wreaths, often creating layered designs.
- Beadwork: Securing beads onto foam or fabric crafts.
- Applique: Holding intricate or small fabric shapes in place, particularly when working with a sandboard to keep layers flat.
- Modelling: Joining foam core boards or other delicate craft materials.
- General Crafting: Ideal for any project requiring short, sturdy, non-rusting pins that do not protrude.
Key Features:
- Size: Very short (usually \(13\text{mm}\) or \(0.5\text{\ inches}\)) with a fine shaft.
- Material: Usually nickel-plated steel to prevent rust.
- Head: Often flat or small, so they are great to be hidden under sequins or beads
Sequin / Lills Pins are very short, fine pins used for intricate craft and sewing projects. They are primarily for securing small embellishments and joining lightweight materials.
Primary Uses of Sequin / Lills Pins:
- Securing Sequins and Beads: Their primary function is to attach sequins, beads, and other small decorative trims to various surfaces. Their short length (typically 12mm or 13mm) and fine shaft allow them to pass through the small holes in sequins and beads and hold them in place securely without being overly visible.
- Polystyrene Crafts: Use sequin pins to secure decorations to polystyrene or foam core board projects. They are ideal for pinning multiple sequins onto polystyrene shapes (like Christmas ornaments or decorative balls) to create a fully covered, attractive decoration.
- Appliqué Work: Use for pinning tiny fabric pieces for appliqué work, especially for hand stitching or when heavily pinning curved seams. The diminutive head is less likely to tangle threads during sewing.
- Model Making and Display Boards: Great for using to join lightweight materials such as foam core board for model making or to attach items to display boards.
Key Characteristics:
- Extra-Short Length: Typically measuring around 12mm to 13mm (or 1/2 inch).
- Fine Shaft: The extra-fine diameter (around 0.65mm) prevents damage to delicate fabrics and materials.
- Material: The nickel-plated steel construction makes them durable and rust-resistant.
