Pre-Stretched Natural Linen 300g with colourless coating that makes it stiff and waterproof. French made stretched Linen on stretchers made from pine wood. The originality of these 3D stretchers is that they give dimension to the work. Clear Gesso 38mm thick.

The substrate offers exceptional archival durability, superb resistance to moisture-related warping, and a luxurious, consistent weave.  The pre-primed surface saves preparation time and provides an optimal foundation for oils, acrylics, and mixed media. Also available Primed Linen Panels.

• Stronger Fibres: Derived from the long, resilient fibres of the flax plant, linen is inherently much stronger and longer lasting than cotton duck canvas.
• Moisture Resistance: Linen fibres contain natural oils that keep them flexible and stop them from becoming brittle over time. They expand and contract significantly less than cotton or wood when exposed to changing humidity.
• No Sagging: Because the linen is already securely stretched over a frame support, you won’t have to worry about the canvas slackening over time or needing keying.
