Description

Use High Performance Lining Tape (referred to as fine-line or precision masking tape) to create ultra-sharp paint lines. It is used in place of standard masking tape where a flawless edge or highly detailed finish is required. General Masking Tape and Scotch Masking Tape available. For masking out in larger areas on paintings use Painters Masking Tape.

Common Uses & Applications of High Performance Lining Tape:

• Custom & Multi-Tone Painting: Ideal for separating colours and executing complex, multi-layered paint jobs on cars, motorcycles, boats, and aircraft.
• Pinstriping & Graphics: Used in airbrushing, custom art, and graphic design to block out shapes, trace contours, and create perfect flames or panelling.
• Electronics & Model Building: Used in crafting, scale modelling, and electronics to protect sensitive areas from overspray and ensure crisp boundaries.

Key Characteristics:

• Zero Paint Bleed: A thin film or flexible washi paper backing adds to sealing of the edges, stopping paint from seeping underneath.
• Clean Removal:  Peels off cleanly in one piece without tearing or leaving sticky residue on the surface.
• Extreme Conformability: Highly flexible and elastic, it stretches and adheres tightly around sharp curves, corners, and irregular surfaces.
