Heavyweight pine stretchers are used to build strong, rigid frames often for artworks that will be displayed without a traditional frame (a “gallery wrap”). Heavyweight Pine Stretcher Pieces width and strength provide necessary support to prevent the canvas from sagging or warping over time. Larger size canvases require a brace every 33 inches. Smaller than 33 inches do not require a brace. Stretch your own canvas or linen over these durable pine stretcher bars. A variety of sizes available to create the perfect size artwork. Prestretched canvases are also available.
