Description

Heavy Weight Cartridge 320gsm has an excellent surface for drawing and a good thickness for painting with acrylic paint. Heavyweight cartridge paper is excellent for dry media like pencils, charcoal, and crayons. Use it for light washes and ink, as its thickness and texture can handle pressure and absorb marks well. It is also durable enough for mixed media and can be used for final artworks or for drafting and sketching. Suitable for creative fields like architecture or design. For a slightly lighter weight paper use Atelier Art 210gsm Cartridge which has a good tooth and is available in Packs and Pads.

• Dry media: Pencils, charcoal, conte, and pastels work very well due to the paper’s texture, which helps hold the marks in place.
• Light washes and inks: The heavier weight makes it suitable for light watercolour washes and ink work without buckling as much as lighter papers.
• Mixed media: It’s a good choice for projects that combine different types of art supplies.
• Sketching and drafting: It is ideal for detailed sketching and concept work in fields like architecture, interior design, and animation.
• Final artworks: Great quality paper for finished drawings and illustrations, with some types being archival-stable and suitable for long-term storage.
• Durable prints: Use for high-quality printing of items like certificates and invitations, and for small posters.
