A French Box Easel is a portable, all-in-one painting workstation that folds into a compact briefcase. It features a built-in storage box for supplies, an adjustable canvas holder, and three telescoping legs for stability. It is perfect for plein air (outdoor) painting. To use it, you set up the tripod legs on uneven ground, open the box to reveal storage and a palette. This easel folds up into a small carry box with extendable triangular legs. The lid extends to provide a canvas holder and will accommodate up to 85cm high canvases. The dovetailed drawer has dividers to house paint, brushes, varnishes or mediums. Comes with shoulder carry strap and palette.

How to use it (Setup & Painting):

• Unfold the Legs: Open the latches, extend the two front legs, and lock them in place. Then, unfold the middle leg and extend it, locking it as well.
• Position the Easel: Flip the easel onto its legs, adjusting one leg shorter if needed to level it on uneven ground.
• Open the Box: Undo the lid latches, open the lid, and set the internal palette on the storage shelf.
• Set the Canvas: Adjust the mast and canvas holder arms (using knobs) to the desired height and angle for your canvas or panel, securing it tightly.
• Start Painting: Access your supplies from the drawer and palette, positioning them for easy reach.
