All conventional watercolour techniques can be implemented with the highly pigmented watercolours. The watercolour brush provided, produces numerous, fantastic effects and is the perfect companion for painting outdoors or on trips. The brilliant and bright colours, including metallic and neon colours, impress users by their versatile effects.

How to Use Faber Castell Creative Studio Watercolour Paint Sets:

Using these sets is a straightforward process whether you are in the studio or traveling:

1. Prepare your workspace: Gather your preferred watercolour paper and a paper towel to dab excess water.
2. Fill the water brush: Unscrew the barrel of the included water brush, fill it with clean water, and screw it back together.
3. Activate the paint: Gently squeeze the barrel of the brush to release a few drops of water. Apply this to your chosen paint pan to soften and “activate” the pigment.
4. Mix your colours: Swirl your brush in the paint, then transfer it to the mixing palette lid to blend hues or dilute the colour with more water.
5. Start painting: Lay washes for soft backgrounds, or use less water for vibrant, saturated details.
6. Clean up: When switching colours, simply squeeze and wipe the water brush on a paper towel until it runs clean. Rinse the detachable palette directly under the tap.
