Ecoline Brush Pens are vibrant, water-soluble dye inks used for watercolour effects, blending, and lettering on watercolour paper.  Use with a water brush or apply to a palette first for painterly results, or use like regular marker for direct application. Key techniques involve layering, wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, lifting colour with water and blending with a blender pen. Also using a water brush for gradients, and controlling line weight with arm movement for expressive strokes.

This pen comes pre-filled with Ecoline Liquid Watercolour Paint. It has a flexible brush nib for thin precise lines or energetic strokes. Works on a variety of paper types, including drawing paper and water colour paper. Colours are vibrant and bright but are decreased in intensity by thinning with water or by using the Brush Pen Blender. Ecoline Brush pens are not waterproof when dry, so they can be re wet.
