Use Derivan Glass Bead Medium for dazzling effects and textures. These smooth round 1.5mm or 3mm glass beads can be used on paintings, mixed media or collage. Use it in painting, mixed media, and collage to add unique, sparkling, textured effects. Create surfaces with dimension and light reflection.  Mix it with acrylic mediums like gel or varnish to suspend them and secure them to the artwork for durable, clear finishes. Sprinkle them on wet paint, mix them into gels for body, or create thick textures with palette knives for various effects from subtle shimmer to intense sparkle.

For best results mix with MM4 Gel Medium, or MM7 Gloss Varnish/ Medium to maintain the beads brightness. In a 250ml Jar

Application Tips:

• Embed or Sprinkle: Drop them into a thick medium like gel or texture paste, or sprinkle them on top of wet paint/medium.
• Secure with Varnish: Varnish the artwork with a gloss varnish (like MM7 or MM14) to seal the beads and maintain their brightness.
• Control the Look: Mix with soft gels for more space between beads or apply thickly for dense texture. Use a palette knife helps to control placement and angle.
