The cleaner also lifts dried ink from paper, revealing the surface underneath, and the extender adds body and permanence to washes, preventing bleeding when layering.

Pigmented Ink Cleaner (Art Spectrum)

Pigmented Ink Cleaner (Art Spectrum) can be drawn or brushed onto dried Art Spectrum Pigmented Ink colours. Applied and then left it may then blotted with a clean damp sponge or cloth to reveal the paper surface. It also cleans brushes and pens used primarily for pigmented inks.

To Use:

• Tool Cleaning: Cleans brushes, pens, and airbrushes of wet or dried pigmented inks.
• Ink Removal from Art: Can be brushed or drawn onto dried Art Spectrum Pigmented Ink, left to soften (even overnight), then blotted to lift the ink and reveal the paper.
• Usage: Work into bristles, wipe, rinse; for dried ink, apply, let sit, then blot.

Art Spectrum Pigmented Ink Extender Medium restores water resistance and adhesion to heavily diluted washes of Art Spectrum Pigmented Ink colours.

Add to Art Spectrum Gouache or Watercolours to create varying levels of water resistance.

To Use:

• Restores Water Resistance: Adds permanent, water-resistant qualities to heavily diluted ink washes.
• Layering: Allows for painting over dried ink washes without reactivating them (like adding resistance to watercolours/gouache).
• Usage: Mix into pigmented inks, gouache, or watercolours (at least 10% medium recommended) to create durable, layerable washes.
