The Art Spectrum Matte Black Synthetic Pad (230gsm) is used with non-absorbent, waterproof mediums like alcohol inks (especially metallics/pearls) to make colours pop, opaque paints (Posca markers, acrylics) for vibrant effects, and for unique techniques with oil pastels, Glasochrom pencils, and pencils, as its smooth, solid black surface repels water and offers great contrast for rich, vibrant art.
