Atelier Interactive Series 6 80ml Artists’ Acrylic Paint gives you more creative freedom than any other paint. Simply paint in your usual way for traditional fast drying acrylic painting techniques. Add more time for blending by adding Atelier Slow Medium or use a water sprayer to keep the paint open. Dry paint can be reactivated with Unlocking Formula.  It dries to a matte/satin finish.

The difference between Atelier Interactive Series 5 and Series 6 is purely the price point explained below.  This is determined by the cost of the pigments used to create the specific colours within each series.

The series number does not indicate a difference in the quality or the performance features of the paint formula itself. All Atelier Interactive paints share the same high-quality characteristics, such as:

• Extended Workability: The paints have a unique, patented formulation that slows down the drying process compared to conventional acrylics. This allows for more blending time.
• Reactivation: Even after the paint is touch-dry, it can be reactivated with water or Atelier Unlocking Formula for further blending and reworking.
• Professional Quality: They are professional-grade paints with high pigment load. They have excellent lightfastness, and a smooth, buttery consistency that dries to a satin finish.
• Technique Versatility: Both series are compatible with all Atelier mediums and can be used for various techniques including impasto, glazing, washes, and wet-on-wet methods.

The colours in Atelier Interactive Series 6, such as genuine Cerulean Blue and Cobalt Blue, use rarer or more historically precious pigments.  Rarer pigments are more expensive to source, resulting in a higher retail price compared to the colours in Series 5 (e.g., Cobalt Turquoise Light).
