Matt finish, fast drying, suitable for canvas, wooden boards and interior masonry surfaces. non-toxic and can be cleaned up with water. Gesso is a liquid primer, composed of binder, pigment and chalk, used to seal, stiffen, and prepare surfaces like canvas, wood, or paper for paint adhesion. It prevents oil or acrylic paint from soaking into fibres, creates a “tooth” for better colour application, and protects the underlying material. Also available White and Black Gesso.
